3 Reasons We Love Encinitas!

Moonlight Beach in Encinitas, CAAs you know, we serve the Greater North San Diego area, which includes San Marcos, Vista, Oceanside, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Solana Beach, and Del Mar — just to name a few. We’ve shined the spotlight on many of these areas recently but with this post we’re focusing on the beautiful coastal gem that is, Encinitas.

This town really is impossible NOT to love. It’s been named one the best surf towns multiple times by several noteworthy media authority’s including The Travel Channel and National Geographic. And we have to just throw out that Samuel L. Jackson recently gave the ladies of Encinitas quite a compliment in a recent statement that made some serious trend waves on social media.

As summer is officially here, Encinitas seemed the perfect town to spotlight. So what do we love about Encinitas?  A lot! But in an effort to stay focused, here are 3 things we love about this charming, yet bustling SoCal beach town.

1 – The Beaches

From Beacons, to Moonlight, and down just a tad south to Swami’s and Cardiff, the beaches of Encinitas are truly some of the best in San Diego. Moonlight Beach, located @400 B Street, is perhaps one of the most family friendly beaches with ample bathrooms, a playground, volleyball courts, fire pits, and their Sunday Summer Concerts by the Sea, which feature an awesome lineup of musical guests throughout the summer.

2 – Healthy Places to Eat

Encinitas boasts a wealth of deliciously healthy cafes and eateries. They’re a health-conscious bunch with cafes, coffee shops and restaurants that have a unique array of menus set to accommodate nearly any special dietary need, food sensitivity, or clean eating desire. Some of our faves are…

Ki’s @ 2591 S Coast Hwy 101

Lofty Coffee Co. with 2 locations @ 90 N. Coast Highway 101 Suite 214 and @ the Roasting Works locations at 97 N Coast Highway 101

Haggos Organic Tacos @ 1302 N Coast Hwy 101 Ste 101

GoodOnYa Organic Cafe @ 1051 S Coast Hwy 101

3 – The Low-Key Yoga Vibe

San Diego is generally known for its laid back vibe but Encinitas takes this mindset to the next level of “chill.” There’s literally a yoga studio on every corner! We’ll start with the yoga-centric Self Realization Fellowship located @ 215 K Street, just off the 101. The temple and tranquil gardens overlook the Pacific Ocean and hold a special history specific to the man known as “The Father of Yoga”, Paramahansa Yogananda. Some of the local yoga studios we love are…

Soul of Yoga offers some of the most yoga styles in Encinitas including Hatha, Kundalini, Yin, Vinyasa, Restorative, Mommy and Me, PreNatal, Power Yoga, Barre and more! Their studio is located @ 627 Encinitas Blvd.

Yoga Bergamot is a demure, donation based (only) studio located in a special oasis/cabana setting @ 775 North Vulcan Rd.
